‘Member Statement’ from the Legislative Assembly on October 24th the day of the Provincial Budget

October 31, 2019

It is the ‘Member Statement’ from the Legislative Assembly on October 24th the day of the Provincial Budget.

Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard expressed her support for Nauticol project in Alberta.  With government support through programs such as the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation and Petrochemicals Diversification Program, and through expedited regulatory processes, Nauticol Grande Prairie is expected to contribute over $2.1 billion in tax revenue to the province of Alberta.

Through this continued cooperation with the Alberta government, Nauticol plans would create an additional 5000 jobs in Alberta.

Having recently reached several key regulatory milestones, as well as signing an agreement with TC Energy to connect our facility to the TC natural gas pipeline network, Nauticol will continue to work with our First Nations partners and the government to reach our commencement of construction target in 2020 and get more Albertans back to work.
